English tests for Australian visas
Australia's visa system measures English in three levels — competent, proficient and superior — and ties them to points for skilled migration. From 7 August 2025 the accepted-test list changed and online or at-home tests are no longer recognised, which has caught a lot of applicants out. This hub indexes Migratio's English-test guides: the rules and scores, the 2025 changes, the IELTS-vs-PTE strategy questions people actually research, and how a test result converts into migration points.
