Group A means a single, strict pathway: a highly relevant Bachelor degree or higher, with no lower-evidence fallback available at all, plus one year of post-qualification employment. Whether ALIA membership is in any sense a precondition of library employment in Australia, as opposed to a voluntary professional credential, could not be confirmed from ALIA's own current site in this research pass — its overseas-qualification page returned a 404 at the URL a search surfaced. South Australia's own DAMA occupation list names this code for Greater Adelaide, offering a genuine concessional route into employer-sponsored visas the standard list does not otherwise provide.
