VETASSESS's own page for 224999 Information and Organisation Professionals nec warns explicitly that its listed suitable title "Electoral Officer" is "not to be confused with 224911 Electorate Officer, which is a separate occupation," explaining that an Electorate Officer manages a politician's local office while an Electoral Officer normally works for an Electoral Commission overseeing elections. Confusing the two means confusing a one-visa code with a six-visa one.
An honest read on this pathway
For someone whose work genuinely is parliamentary-office management, the wide field-of-study list removes one common barrier — an unrelated degree is not automatically disqualifying here. The trade-off is visa reach: one subclass only, entirely dependent on regional employer sponsorship, with no state-nomination, graduate or standard employer-nomination route available under this specific code, a considerably narrower outcome than the six-subclass reach of the nec catch-all code sitting elsewhere in the same unit group.
