A VET teacher whose timetable spans both trades and non-trades units, or who has been promoted into teaching higher-education-level content, needs to isolate the portion of their duties that fits this code's narrower scope — the whole job as described on a payslip or contract may not be assessable as a single continuous claim. Note also that this code has two separate assessing authorities depending on the stream: VETASSESS for non-trades, Trades Recognition Australia for trades — an applicant teaching trades content is assessed by a different body entirely.
