How to read these figures
"50% decided in 14 Days" means half of the Temporary Activity visa applications decided recently were finalised within that time — and half took longer. The 90% figure is the more conservative planning number: nine in ten recent decisions happened within it. These figures move month to month, and an individual application can be faster or slower than any percentile depending on completeness, health and character checks, and whether the Department asks for more information.
Home Affairs is explicit that these are indicative figures based on recently decided applications — they are not a promise about any application, including one already lodged.
