Which lists is ICT Account Manager on?
STSOL — Short-term Skilled Occupation List. Occupations on the STSOL can access state-nominated and regional skilled visas (190/491), but not the Skilled Independent 189.
CSOL — Core Skills Occupation List. The employer-sponsorship list — occupations on the CSOL can be nominated for the Skills in Demand visa (subclass 482) and the Employer Nomination Scheme 186.

Processing priority
ICT Account Manager isn't in any of the ANZSCO groups that Directions 121 and 122 list for the priority sectors. Some of the first group is defined by the job rather than the code: a nominated position directly involved in agriculture, aquaculture or fishing, one that directly supports mining, oil and gas or coal production, or one related to defence. What the assessment actually involves
ICT Account Manager sits on STSOL and CSOL, reaching six visa subclasses. Its own page excludes the other two ICT sales titles — ICT Business Development Manager and ICT Sales Representative — plus ICT Sales Assistant, Sales Representative (Business Services), and Technical Sales Representatives nec. All three ICT sales codes exclude each other and the general sales-rep cluster on both sides, so the ICT trio is cross-referenced against the broader sales-representative group as firmly as it is against itself.
Where these applications come unstuck
Applicants sometimes assume any ICT-adjacent sales role can nominate whichever of the three ICT codes reaches the required visa, since all three carry identical reach. That misreads the purpose of the exclusion list — the three codes distinguish account management, business development and direct sales as genuinely different functions, not interchangeable labels for the same job, and evidence built for one function will not automatically satisfy another even where the visa outcome would be the same.
An honest read on this pathway
Because all three ICT sales codes reach the identical six subclasses, there is no visa advantage to choosing between them — the decision should rest entirely on which of account management, business development or direct sales genuinely describes the role. That symmetry is itself worth knowing, since it removes one source of confusion the general sales-representative cluster (§1 of the family research) does not share.
