Engineers Australia assesses Civil Engineer applicants without an EA-accredited degree through a Competency Demonstration Report: three Career Episodes (roughly 1,000-2,500 words each) written in first person about your own technical contribution on real projects, a Summary Statement mapping each episode against the 16 competency elements, a CPD record and an employer reference. Applicants with a Washington Accord-accredited degree can instead apply for direct qualification recognition without career episodes.

A Summary Statement that cross-references generic paragraphs rather than the exact sentence demonstrating each element gets sent back, and templated episode language (a known problem with paid CDR-writing services) is grounds for rejection.
